I'm planing on sitting the 270 shortly as I take aim on the MCSA. As you can see I've already done the A+ and N+ and I'm just wondering.. what books people have been using?
Thanks

CBT Nuggets, Transcender, and VM labs are other great resources you should look into. -

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0735614296/sr=1-1/qid=1156801743/ref=sr_1_1/104-6313703-3867159?ie=UTF8&s=books
and it's retail is 59.99 and can be had most places for 35.99 - 37.99 and it's almost a 900 pages and not so good reviews?.. I mean I don't want to fail but I've just been though the N+ did the A+ just before that.. I've about 5 years on the job experience. I was hoping this would be a case of brush up, get in the right frame of mind and take the test? Am I missing anything?
I found these books:
Mike Myers MCSE 70-270
http://www.amazon.com/Meyers-Windows-Professional-Certification-Passport/dp/0072225084/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1220317170&sr=1-8
Exam Cram 2
http://www.amazon.com/MCSE-Windows-Professional-Exam-70-270/dp/0789733609/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1220316095&sr=1-2
This Monster...
http://www.amazon.com/MCSA-Self-Paced-Training-70-270-Pro-Certification/dp/0735621527/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1220316095&sr=1-1
Has anyone used the above? I've used Mike Myers from the A+ to the N+ and I just don't want to waste another $30 - $40 on a over kill book... Still have one of those from the A+. Which in the end turned out to be more like 80% of on the job experience answers! I kind of leaning towards Mike Myers again.. any thoughts?
Thanks again!!

someeh Member Posts: 143I would just get the MS press book from MS. It cost $60 but I read the reviews on amazon and the pros outweigh the cons on this book. But it is always good to get more than 1 source of study material.
