FINALLY PASSED!!!
986/1000
I used the Cisco Press Book, CBT Nuggets and a Home Lab of many routers and switches. plus I configure, troubleshoot and install Cisco devices at work.
After may hours of studying, a wife, a toddler and a infant at my house. I did it!!
Thanks so much for these forums. When I started I didnt think I could do it.
Im having trouble figuring out what to do next.
Study for CCNP. But Im hearing so much about VMWARE and SQL as of late.
I am not very versed in PC/Applications, So im thinking about my A+ as a beginner route.

Very nice score, congratulations!
For what to do next, I think it depends on what you're aiming at (and what your job is or what you want it to be). If I was job-hunting I'd pick up the A+ in order to round out the basic IT knowledge all the way to the user's keyboard, if I was working to improve in a current job that was heavily Cisco-esque I'd probably go for CCNP.Next up: MS Server 2008 Network Infrastructure (70-642), CCNA (640-816) -

I am planning on aiming for my CCNP and study for the A+ on my downtime. It's alot at once, but it will at least expose me to both worlds.
Thanks -

I just have an infant and wife, plus the job, and I've hardly got any time to study.
Sleep much?
Congrats

I dont have a wife or kids and Im having hard time trying to find some moments to study. Those of you who can and do it are my heroes!
Congrats on the pass. I gave myself 4weeks 2 weeks ago and right now I am feeling very confident. I should be taking the icnd1 this friday or maybe next week and the icnd2 just a few days apart. I am trying to find some labs for a final practice on all subjects of the exams. Maybe another week tops. Im trying to get the CCNA before the second chance offer expires .Training/Studying for....CCNP (BSCI) and some MS. -
wbosher Member Posts: 422Good job!! I've got a wife and a 3 year old daughter, it's pretty hard to study when your little girl keeps asking "what are you doing Daddy?" every five minutes.

I've got a 3year old too - only have her 50% of the time, but it's hard when you can only really study after she's asleep. I've got a full rack in my basement with a bunch of network gear in it, and she asked me what it was - I told her that's what controls our house and it's how I get paid and to stay away from it -

I probably would have said that there was a scary monster down there, and all the noise from the lab gear was the monsters tummy rumbling!!!
