So I just finished watching it on youtube. The second I close youtube, the commercial starts on tv. What a horrible commercial.

The New Microsoft-Seinfeld Ads…

…are incredibly stupid. What in the world does watching Jerry Seinfeld help Bill Gates find a pair of shoes have to do with Windows? If Microsoft thinks that Jerry and Bill talking about churros and making Windows delicious is going to help improve Windows’ tarnished image, I’d say they need to fire the ad agency and try again.

I wonder if this particular ad is going to be part of a series or something. Maybe this one was more of an introduction and things will be fleshed out more with subsequent ads. Either way, this one was incredibly weak on its own.

I don't get it. I work for a fairly small company and they block youtube yet my wife works for one of the biggest financial institutes in a call center yet she can access youtube. Something is not right.

personally I thought it was funny, not witty funny, just funny. The sheer fact that they have Bill Gates in common situations is funny (maybe its just me, I dont know). I thought that Sienfeld was not that funny in the commercial but Im looking forward to what else they produce. HELL ITS BETTER THAN MOST TECH COMMERCIALS! Ill take this over PC vs MAC; its just getting old.
