Wondered if anyone might be using this version and has had problem with host-only network not working. Everything will be running fine and then out of the blue workstations can't access shared folders and seem to lose connection to domain. Have 1 2003 server vm acting as dc, dns, and dhcp server. When esx was installed and vm's configured the network ran fine for a couple of months, now workstation vm's can't authenticate with dc or access shared folders. Last time this happened I chucked everyhing and re-installed ESX, all the networking came back and worked fine until a few days ago. Just wondered if anyone else has run into this with this version.

This problem was caused by Windows firewall on dns server, why would dns be blocked in the firewall on a server setup with role as dns server?
