"DESPERATELY SEEKING CISCO CERTIFIED INDIVIDUALS
If you are a Cisco Certified individual that needs the benefit of a Company association in order to gain access to cisco.com, and would like to earn extra cash, please read on. By associating your Cisco certifications with our Company, you can gain access to Cisco technical updates, seminars and web-based training. In addition we will pay you for your certifications and subcontracting services if so desired. "
Kinda funny, so they can advertise they have a staff full of certed people, but only, they don't LOL

GT-Rob Member Posts: 1,090Its pretty common. Not sure if its illegal or what Cisco thinks of it.
The reason companies do it is to get higher partnership with Cisco. Quite common to see up to $15k offered for a CCIE, and you don't ever have to work there. -
dynamik Banned Posts: 12,312 ■■■■■■■■■□I don't think it's illegal, but it probably violates some partner agreement that Cisco has. This type of practice really undermines what Cisco is trying to achieve.

Kaminsky Member Posts: 1,235Would you risk your certs being stripped by Cisco if found to be involved in uncontractual partner activity ?
Sounds very bogus. Sure the company is legit and above board but they are trying to put one over on Cisco and Cisco helps put food on your table.Kam. -

That's what I was referring to. Illegal was a poor choice of words. An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made.
