Viewing 'Shared Folders/Shares' of remote computers

Is it possible to view shared folders on an other computer using 'computer managment' from lets say the DC?

Select "Connect to another computer..." from the "action" menu.

Or \\computername without the full \\computername\share path and it'll show you all shares on that computer. This does not show hidden shares though. If you want to see all shares including hidden shares, do what dynamik said.

Maybe I need sleep. I was trying to figure out what the heck kind of path is "\\computername without the full \\computername\share" and coming up with zero.

You will be able to specify the IP range of your LAN and see all PC's and their Shared Folder... you will be able to access them, see which ports are open, bla bla bla. The tool is free....

By default if you are browsing resources via network neighborhood, shares with $ is not showned. If you decide to access hidden share via UNC path you can append a $ sign at the very end for hidden shares.

No one has mentioned ShareEnum... http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897442.aspx

It will give you the share name, local path, security, (including hidden shares), etc for all the servers in the domain(s), and like everything Mark and Bryce do for Sysinternals, it's free.

You can connect to the computer managment of another computer using mmc console.
