Travis Barker (drummer for blink 182) Plane Crash

Hey gang,
I just found out some very sad news this morning. icon_sad.gif

I don't know if any of you are Blink 182, Transplants, +44, Box Car Racer, Expensive taste fans but apparently Travis Barker was involved in a plane crash this morning and is currently in the hospital with severe burns. 4 others died in the crash and Travis and DJ AM are the only two survivors.

Transplants is one of my favorite bands. Travis Barker is just an absolute phenomenal drummer. My thoughts are with everyone involved in the crash.

    It sucks to hear about things like that for anyone. I hope those two are able to recover.

    The song 'DJ, DJ' by the transplants is probably my all time favorite song. I've probably listened to this song 200 times and still love it. Warning: contains some vulgar language.

    Decent song...I've never listened to the Transplants all that much.

    I was disappointed with Rancid's later albums and the musical direction Tim was heading, but this song is pretty awesome, actually.

    Yeah Tim Armstrong has a lot of styles (punk, rock, reggae). His solo album was a lot of reggae.

    According to a MTV report they are in "critical but stable" condition, but are expected to make full recoveries. That's good news, let's hope so.

    You should check out Lars and the Bastards if you haven't already. A pretty good side project by Lars.
