Well I finally kicked the CCNA exam right in the nuts today with a score of 869.
I've been around this forum for some time but persistance finally paid off.
Here are some books I used to prepare for the exam.
Todd Lammle 6th ed
Richard Deal exm 640-802
Cisco Press INTRO/ICND
Exam Cram
CCNA Flash cards
CBT nuggets (640-801)
Home lab;
4X 2500 ROUTERS
2X 2950 SWITCH
1X2610 ROUTER
Visualizer 6.0 (Save yourself money and buy a real cisco routers & switches)
My biggest help came from this forum and for that I want to thank you all.
Well I wish I could celebrate tonight but I have to work but I'll be hoisting
a few this weekend for sure
peace!

kadshah,
Sounds like a good time for you to verify your information, such as current mailing address, in the Cisco Certification Tracking System. Usually there's a longer delay if this is your very first Cisco certification. By default, you're mailed a paper certificate package unless you change it to electronic delivery, in the form of a downloadable PDF file at the Cisco Certification Tracking System website.

kadshah Member Posts: 388 ■■■□□□□□□□quick question I followed the link https://i7lp.integral7.com/durango/do/login?ownername=cisco&channel=cisco&basechannel=integral7 Is the first certification free and
does Cisco pay for the shipping cost? For additional certificate I would pay $15.00 is that right?
I don't need to input my credit card info for my first certificate or do I?You've been hanging out here too long -

kadshah,
Yes, the first one is free. Yes, it is $15.00 for additional certificates after the first certificate. Since the first certificate is free, no you don't need to input your credit card info for the first certificate. I hope this helps. -
