Am I Enjoying ISCW A Bit Too Much Perhaps?

Is it just me or is Penultimate Hop Pop the most fun networking term ever? I think it would be a great name for a band, myself. icon_lol.gif

    haha was MPLS on ISCW? Man, I have just put it all out of my mind since then!

    Its is a cool term though. I also like Not-so-totally-stubby areas.

    I am also really enjoying the ISCW.
    In thinking about the last hurdle, ONT (not so much)

    ONT could get a little dry, but it kind of was interesting to learn more about voice...in a way I felt it was like going back in a time machine to see how the networks we now use for data were first developed. It was also neat to see how granular you can get with controlling your traffic and limiting/guaranteeing bandwidth.

    I will have to say that ISCW is more "networky" though and appeals more to those who would rather "do" than just "read." I'm also looking forward to doing lots more playing in the lab for this exam and BSCI and BCMSN. I'm really hoping to finish my PNCC by early next year. icon_lol.gif

    After that you can start working on that persistent dyslexia! :)icon_wink.gif Good luck with the studying.....
    I usually hang out on 224.0.0.10 (FF02::A) and 224.0.0.5 (FF02::5) when I'm in a non-proprietary mood.

    You mean to tell me that all this time I haven't been running PGB on my outside router and FPSO on my inside network? Dang...I need help! crash.gif

    Nope. I still smile when I think about Penultimate Hop Pop. icon_lol.gif

    You kids today have a much more fun CCNP. I had to do the CCIP and take the MPLS exam before I could Penultimate Hop Pop. :D

    And I still think it sounds like the name of a dance.... and should have it's own song (with a tune similar to the old Bandstand theme song).

    I disagree, I find router on a stick to more humorous.

    I think the dance you are referring to is Penultimate Hop Poppin' and Lockin', what CCNP candidates do when they pass the ISCW, but still have another CCNP exam to go. :)

    Damn straight. They could open for Freezepop. Of course, I always liked the whole "stub zone", "not-so-stubby" and "totally stubby" OSPF terminology, myself. :D

    As for having too much fun studying. As far as I'm concerned, if you're still wearing pants, you're not enjoying it enough.
