Why use Management IP's?

in CCNP
Hey folks. Im just curious to know why people use management IP's if there is only 1 switch involved. Why not just use the IP address from a client vlan to remote in?
Thanks!

It can be for security reasons. If users don't know the subnet that is allowed in, it makes it harder to guess which one is. Also just makes life easier when you know which one lets you in.
Its not required though.
