ISCW.....Passed
So I took the ISCW this morning and passed.. I got a 938/1000 . I spent a large number of hours making up my own VPN labs and even setup a home VPN .... (obviously this was my favorite portion of it). Everything else I did really good on too.. I enjoyed MPLS but did the worst on it.. also for some reason my IOS supported CBAC/IOS FW but it kept giving me fits when i tried to configure it via SDM.. oh well.
Score Breakdown:
Total: 938
Implement basic teleworker services - 100%
implement frame mode MPLS - 71% (kinda dissapointed I didn't do better)
implement a site-to-site IPSec VPN - 100%
Describe network security strategies - 100%
Implement Cisco Device Hardening - 88%
Implement Cisco IOS Firewall - 77%
Described and configure Cisco IOS IPS - 100%
So I'm pretty happy to have it done.. in difficulty range it was harder than the BCMSN but slightly easier than the BSCI.. it mimiced the BSCI in the fact the questions were very relevant and straightforward (unlike the BCMSN).
Well its time for a bit of a break, then I'll probably hit the ONT next week.
The materials I used:
CBT Nuggets (Jeremy is the man!)
packetlife.net (Stretch is also the man!)
Chris Bryant Study Guides + Practice Exam (The test was kinda lame, but the study guides were pretty invaluable and worth the $67).
Home made labs
IOS Documentation
dynamips + dynagen

The ONT was definitely the easiest Cisco exam I have taken thus far. I'm dreading the ISCW though! -
