LWAPP tunnel over the WAN?

didn't quite make this clear in the book. If you have a remote WLC and the WAN link goes down, I know that the LAP can keep operational.
What happens to the tunnel or is there no tunnel used in this case?

xwesleyxwillisx Member Posts: 158The answer is HREAP mode. When operating in HREAP mode, the AP can failover in the event the connection to the WLC fails. It is able to serve the WLANs locally without the LWAPP tunnel.
