Failed BSCI:600 UPDATE Passed 844
Whow, that was a tuff test.
Guys know your IPV6 in detail, know OSPFv3, and last but not least know Multicast at the command line!
I took the test because I just finished a course designed around the 2003 test materials. My class did not cover the IPV6, Multicast, or OSPFv3 topics. I got the CBT Nuggets for this and will be studying before my Secondshot in a week.
I think Cisco did a good job following the offical exam materials guide.
SIMS were not as difficult as they could have been.
Be capable of looking at debug, show command materials and troubleshooting.
Ha took my own advice and passed: 100% on OSPF! 87% on IPV6
I am so happy right now, I would have bet money that I failed it by 10 points.
Many thank to everyone for the encouragement!

No, because you won't need it
You know what your weak areas are, and you're going to nail it the second time around.
How long do you think it's going to take you to revise for it? You'll get a free retake if you can do it within 11 days. -

I did not have hardly any OSPFv3, however. IS-IS was huge on mine, and Multicasting as well. As said already..take the lowest score on your report, and hit that section hard, until you know it in and out..then move on. Be sure to take advantage of the second chance promotion if you can..you only have until October 15th!! -

And to everyone else, thanks for the morale booster. I am feeling highly motivated to take this test on again!Struggling through the re-certification process after 2 years of no OJT for the CCNP. -
Mrock4 Banned Posts: 2,359 ■■■■■■■■□□Man, as soon as I saw my score report, I drove home and rescheduled..it was crazy. I was shocked by how much multicasting was on mine. I definitely need to hit that hard...
Let me know how you do bro..I'm taking mine on the 13th. I've got 4 days before the test off of work, so hopefully I can get some serious hours in then. -
