What do you guys do when you reach the end of one lab and start the next. How do you return your lab to its natural state? Just write erase, reload and paste in the basic config for the setup? Or go through and take out everything new you put in? Was just wondering.

That is one of the best things about Dynamips or GNS3, you just clear the topology, then create a new topology and reload.
when using real gear or if you want to reconfig an interface I like the following command
config)#default interface xx/xI don't claim to be an expert, but I sure would like to become one someday.

I'll soon learn about dynamips. I plan to configure the labs from the self-study guide using it. -

JohnDouglas,
It depends if the following lab requires you to keep the configuration from the previous lab or not. -
