Hi Everyone,
I wanted to let everyone know that I passed today with a 925.
I used the Cisco press book, Odom's questions in the Boson Netsim that comes with the book (only had time to do 80 questions and was 80+% right), Trainsignal's videos, CBT Nuggets, and Bryant's ultimate package (however I saved the rack time for ICND2). I had an old version of the Boson Netsim so I played with that along with some 2505's, a 2610XM and a 2950. A friend had packet tracer from his Academy so I played with that too on his laptop; I liked it better than the Boson Netsim 6 that I bought a year or so back.
The Odom / Boson questions were certainly harder than the exam questions, however I did get some items on the exams that were not covered in trainsignal or CBT nuggets so read Odom's book all the way through.
I think the winning combo was Odom, CBT Nuggets and Bryant's book (mainly because it was easy to read and clearly presented).
One thing that did drive me nuts is that Odom, Bryant, CBT Nuggets and Lammle all cannot agree how a DHCP request actually works with regards to unicast and broadcasts - pfft!.
Here's some fun stuff:
Got lost on the way to the testing center since they re-did the highways in RI. Garmin for the win!
Arrived @ the center early, paid to park (pfft), started the test. Cruised to question 30 in like 30 min or so. Then the testing center decided to do 2 things:
1. unplug either my nic or the switch I was in as a whole
2. executed a (genius) plan to resubnet their network while I was taking the test.
It took them 20+ min to get the test back online. Then, when I went to leave, yes - you guessed it, they could not print my results because the printer was in a different subnet. The actually wheeled out a printer, hooked it up to the Admin's PC, struggled with device drivers, etc for 10 min and finally printed my copy.
Thanks again to the folks on this board for all their help and motivation. I have several shoutouts to send so look in your box, you know who you are.

Congrats on the pass! You know that it wouldn't truly be an IT VUE/Prometric test center if something totally crazy didn't happen once in a while. I think it's a requirement or something.
