Copy PIX to ASA firewall
hey everyone,
is there a easy command line to copy my current pix rule base to a .txt and then import it into my new asa 5500 device?
I just want to make my life of swapping out the old firewall easy as possible!!
Cheers,
Matt.

But if you are running 6.x or lower on the PIX a lot of the commands are different. Cisco have a tool in their security software section to migrate PIX configs to ASA that you could use for this.We responded to the Year 2000 issue with "Y2K" solutions...isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into trouble in the first place?
