Windows 2000 terminal services & printing
We have a client with two remote locations.
The printers work locally for them, but when they remote desktop to the server, they cannot print locally.
Printer drivers are identical on the server & the local machine.
At this point I'm about to rip my hair out.
Help, please?

Tries to print his word document 1 and is successful.
Then RDPs into Server A
Then tries to reprint word document 1 on his local machine the same way and is unsuccessful? -
theseman Member Posts: 230Any errors in the event logs on the server?
Also, what is the brand/model of printer, some devices/drivers do not play nice with TS.

You could also try removing the server driver and doing a driver mapping to something very basic (i.e. HP laserjet 4) on the server. -
RussS Member Posts: 2,068 ■■■□□□□□□□First up - the correct print driver is installed on both the local machine and the terminal server? They both have to be the same version - 5 & 5e do not work well - must be one or the other.www.supercross.com
