MCSE in 6 or 7 Exams?

Hi, I was just wondering if i could do this route and have MCSE at the end?

210,215,216,217,218,219

this is 6 exams, can this be done, or must 7 exams be done to get MCSE?

The reason i say this, because the 219 is on the design exam as well as an elective exam.

It's seven exams. You'll still need one more elective. Four core exams, one designing exam, and two electives.

well my friend, in mcsa w2k there are 4 exams required : 70-210,215,218, and 1 elective. in mcse, you will have those plus 217,219. so you will have 6. for more info please refer to site...

No matter how you slice it, you will still need 7 exams to become an MCSE.

i'm not sure about this, but i thought you could use ONLY 218 as an MCSA elective.

The MCSE in 2k is 7 exams. If you read the requirements, the designing exams can count as the Design Core requirement OR an elective, not both. If you take 219 as the Design Core, then you will need two more exams for electives.

218 is a core exam for the MCSA 2k, and last time I looked counted as an elective for MCSE 2k.

70-218 is a requirement for the MCSA but you can use it as an elective for the MCSE.

Meaning: if you take two designing exams, one counts as the core designing requirement and the other counts as an elective. Again, on the Windows 2000 track there are 7 exams required; four core (70-210 [or 70-270], 70-215, 70-216, and 70-217), 1 designing exam (70-219, 70-220, 70-221, or 70-226 [or 70-297 or 70-298]), and 2 electives.
