Hello i need some help

I just finished high school and i am looking for a job and the only thing i am good at is with computer's. I build my own pc and 3 other of my friends pc and i was planning on applying for geek squad or some other job with computers but i don't have this a+ thing but i am planing on going to college this winter semester to take prerequisite would i be qualified for a job like geek squad?

It wouldn't hurt to apply. Things like the Geek Squad are going to be about half sales anyway, so you're going to need good people skills as well.

You should start working on that A+ though

do i need to take a class for a a+? or can i buy a book and learn it then take some kind of test?

you could do it all on self study ... look in the comptia a+ section on this forum, will help you

Last time I applied which was a while back the Geek Squad required an A+. I would say go get that A+ and then find some help desk or desktop support position in your area. That will get you a whole lot more exposure. Don't wait for the A+ though, start applying now while you study!
