Finally done!
Hey guys,
Just took the Security+ this morning. I have to say, even though I studied CBT Nuggets, Syngress Book, FastPass book, Sybex book, and the notes at this forum, that there were a good deal of questions that I was clueless on. I honestly thought that I was going to fail after the first few questions. I ended up with an 860. I wish that CompTIA had a book series like the MSPress, something much more authoritative.
The best thing about finishing this test: MCSA!
Have a great day

How long did you spend studying for it? -

It's Cisco time! I'm really enjoying studying for the CCNA. -

That's a very pertinent criticism of the CompTIA Approved Quality Curriculum scheme - and one that I'm sure many of us who have taken Security+ would echo.
Of course, it could be that the various text books do keep to the defined curriculum - its just that the exams themselves tend to wander "off piste".
Congratulations, anyway, on your pass.-- Dan
