PPP supports error correction or error detection or both ?
I found some answers from internet and books, some of them said both, some said error correction, but with my book, it only said detection.
which should I choose if I meet this question on ccna exam ?
Thank you

mincol,
According to the "Point to Point Protocol (PPP)" webpage in the Internetworking Technology Handbook website at cisco.com it states...- Frame check sequence (FCS)—Normally 16 bits (2 bytes). By prior agreement, consenting PPP implementations can use a 32-bit (4-byte) FCS for improved error detection.
So I would say "PPP supports error detection."
