Vista: Cannot Stretch background anymore - option missing

I reinstalled my PC and I used to have 5 options within the background options.

One option was "Stretch and fill out" or something similar .. now I only have three - Center - Tile and Fit to screen...

Now basically I have a black bar on my 2nd screen on top and bottom which is completely weird.

Wasn't it you that said you got the other two options after installing some updates? It was in a thread recently, but it might have been someone else. I have all five options. Do you have everything up to date? Maybe it's an SP1 addition.

Oh sorry it might have been me yes - completely forgot I asked that already..

Had to reinstall again but now I cannot get it back .. Question : Do you have Vista Ultimate by any chance because now I have Business instead (which I didn't have before)

Mmm... maybe the additional options come with Dreamscene ...

On my systems:
Vista Business - 3 options
Vista Ultimate with Dreamscene - 5 options

Would be a good test for someone with Ultimate and no Dreamscene installed

Funny how annoying such little things can be isn't it

I mean the wallpaper is fine on my 30" main screen .. the 20.1" screen is rotated 90 degrees and prerry much runs only Outlook and the vista side bar and is hardly used for something else .. so full screen outlook is a nice temp. fix for the black bar on top and bottom

But it just doesn't make sense .. why such an option is there by default ..

I may upgrade to Ultimate tomorrow for testing (Acronis ftw :P )

Yepp it is DreamScene ..

Upgraded to Ultimate : 3 Options
Applied all Windowsupdates : 3 Options
Installed DreamScene : 5 Options

Random ....
