preconfigured profiles

hi
i have question about reconfigured profiles

i have created a shared file (profiles) on dc for users on sales and set the roaming profile as \\domain\profiles\%username%

now i want to create a preconfigured profile for those sales users so
1- create a local account on client machine
2-login to my local account not domain account and configured desktop and menu setting
3- login as admin and copy the template to domain and select an sales user who have roaming account to switch to a preconfigured profile from system - advanced tab and profile
the path was \\domain\profiles\user
4- click on change and permite and select the user name user

after clicking ok

it display a message to overwrite the profile clicked yes then it diplay directory cant be deleted

from the above info

where is my mistakes

no i tried to copy my template profile from the list that shown under computer properties + advanced tab + profiles + and select template profile and browse to dc\profiles\user << user already have a roaming profile under profiles so i want him to take template as preconfigured profile

Question: preconfigured profile are for those who has already roaming profile and you want them to get a different roaming profile and for new users right ????

Try deleting the roaming profile
Then copy the template to the DC profiles folder and see if it gets created
After that specify the profile path for the user profile you want preconfigured

You probably did it backwards

another question do your mean the default user which located under documant and setting or you mean the empty shared folder profiles

ok i solved the problem

1- created a shared folder with permissions...etc which will be the profile location for sales users
2- loged it locally to client pc and create a template account
3- copy template to profile which i want to have the same desktop environment by TYPED the name of the users and the profile folder
select use for the user
4- set the profile path for user and that it

What permissions did you change? I would like to know myself
