I like soccor. Why? Because it's the mother of sports and damn simple. Also like hockey as it's a game of 'energy'.

I enjoy most sports at elite level. However, some GAMES are not sports and should not be confused as such

Like football and basketball because I played those in high school. Just can appreciate the games.
I can't stand hockey because I don't know wtfbbq is going on, and baseball is like watching paint dry.

I am also a fan of motorsports, particularly Moto GP.
I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE NASCAR. I cant get into it; i tried, I really did. Also, I like to play golf, but hate to watch it. All other sports I love to watch and play. Anything that involves athleticism I usually enjoy watching. (no, that was NOT an open invite to flame a particular sport

I tend to like baseball -- it is the only sport where the ball is controlled by the defensive team. I am a die hard Yankees fan and a minor league ducks fan (liducks.com).
My second favorite is American football -- I loved playing in the fall when I was growing up. Oh and if you don't tell everyone my favorite team is the NY Jets.
I have no interest in Golf, Basketball or Nascar -- my wife loves Nascar so I feign interest.
I probably would enjoy hockey much more if they would do away with the fighting.

I don't know why it took someone so long to come up with this topic....good one though.
Most people would argue that GOLF is not a sport, but I think if you actively play then it does become a sport. LOVE GOLF THE MOST.
Used to play a lot of cricket, but like someone has mentioned, it is long and gets boring, not that interesting anymore. -

love: almost any sport..
hate: not a big fan of swimming to be honest. Michael Phelps is a freak of nature, but other then that..not so much. Also hate *watching* golf or bowling on ESPN..ugh. Playing both is OK though. -

favorte sport: hockey. Its high energy, and it takes balls to play. get in a fight? you sit in a box for 2 minutes. In any other national sport in the US fighting = huge fines, suspensions, firing, etc. plus, its really fun to watch on TV or live.. (unlike baseball, which on TV is comparable to watching paint dry)

Favorites are: MotoGP, SBK, AMA, local club motorcycle racing....hence my name. Hopefully one day I can get over the the UK for the Isle of Man and Northwest 200 races as well. Played all sports when younger: Football, baseball, wrestling, soccer, city swim team, track/field, so I can pretty much watch anything, even golf ( for at least 2-3 beers, then it gets sketchy).
Dislike: NASCAR..... F1 or Rally are great to watch, but NASCAR is a joke IMO.-WIP- (70-294 and 297)
