My problem is, I've never actually worked an sys admin job, How could I break into this field, are companies will to take a chance on someone with no expierance, just learning through books and press books?

Most likely going to have to start at a desktop support role and work your way up.
It is possible you could land a Jr Sys Admin position though.

Wish ya best of luck on the job hunt. I would use monster or dice and just apply at the position you are looking for and then just impress them at the interview.

Can I point out Civil Service will also often get you a chance at that kind of job. A school district for example. In New York State we have BOCES which share servic3s among schools. You may have similar where ever you live. Look at their web site employment opportunities.
