Windows Admin Certificate

I work as a Helpdesk doing more network Troubleshooting then anything. Now, I spoke with the Wintel Director and he told me that they have a windows admin job opening and he asked me to apply, so we can have an interview. I don't know yet when the interview is going to be, but I will like to be prepare for the interview. I will like to know which certificate and book fit the best for a windows Admin job. I'm not thinking to pass the test before the interview, but I will like to show him that I'm real interesting in this job. He knows that I'm a fast learner because my company sent me for the CCNA training and I passed with good grade.

I would say your MCSA is your best. Take the 290 and 291 Server exams. Then all you have to do is do either the xp exam or the vista exam with just one elective exam for that cert.

Passing either the Xp 290,291 or the elective i believe would give you the MCP cert.
