book recommendations for Exam 70-431

Me for example, I have limited knowledge and every book (I got the one you posted too) assumes you have previous knowledge ...

The Microsoft Press Training Kit Text, 70-431 I thought was pretty good. After you go through it and do the exercises, and get through the practice tests that come with it, I suggest supplemental study materials.

I used Prep Logic study materials. Their practice exams are really good.

I tried using the the MS Press book but I have up because of its errors

I used MS Press Book, SQL Server 2005 Unleashed, Begining SQL Server 2005 Programming, TestOut 70-431 and the videos on VTC (less useful). I had a very good founding in theory, but did not do enough hands on. You really need to do the labs in the MS Press book repeatedly until you've got them down.

Yeah, there are some editing errors and what not. The Errors and Comments on the web site should help, I printed it out...

It is frustrating but it can be quite rewarding when you figure out the problem and make it work.

We all know the MS Press book has errors.
