Misleading Computer Training?

I wanted to get people's opinions on this. I'm sure you've all heard the ads for computertraining.com. Become certified in 6 months and get that new high paying career you've always dreamed about. The more I hear the ad the more misleading I feel it is. Most of you are out there working and I think we all know that just having the MCSE doesn't get you that high paying job. We also know that IT is in a bit of a slump at the moment (it will rebound as it always does). Just one of my normal rants!

I was under the impression that the six months training would only give you "Microsoft Certified Professional." I don't think its MCSE, but could be wrong. Definately kind of misleading though, but then again, a help desk or some other entry level job may be "high paying" to some of their target audience.CERTS: VCDX #110 / VCAP-DCA #500 (v5 & 4) / VCAP-DCD #10(v5 & 4) / VCP 5 & 4 / EMCISA / MCSE 2003 / MCTS: Vista / CCNA / CCENT / Security+ / Network+ / Project+ / CIW Database Design Specialist, Professional, Associate

JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,089 AdminOut here in SoCal the ads I notice are for DeVry, UoP, and ITT Technical Institute. They sure spend a lot of money on advertising, but I can't tell if it's because business is bad or good.
