The syngress book, the videos on Itidiots did the trick this time.

Good for you to stay strong through the process......others would have quit or used materials that are a no-no. I am knee deep in the 291 myself, but have not found it to be any more difficult than the 290...good luck to you

I made a very simple mistake on the sims on the 2nd and 3rd attempt. "Theres the quick and easy way to do things and then there's the Microsoft way." comes to mind.

Thats great news about 291! One of my co-workers says that since I went through and took the CCNA, I gave myself a slight head start. The networking stuff should be a nice review. Geez I hope you both are right. In any case Im enjoying the learning process.

Congratulations! I'm taking the exam tomorrow. I'm really worried though. I've used Transcender and the Thompson Learning book as a resource, as well as various practice exams from MeasureUp and the like. I've pretty much failed them all with the exceptions of the ones I had in a class I took. I'm glad I get a free retake if I don't pass.
