Yet another "I Passed" topic

Hey guys and gals,

Just got back from sitting for the SY0-101 exam. I passed with an 810. Thanks for running a great site. The Technotes were most helpful in studying for this exam. I also used Testout and the CBTNuggets along with the ExamCram2 Book. The Testout was by far the best resource. I thought it covered all of the objectives well and the questions kept me focused.

Next up is Server +

Wow, that VCP really looks out of place with all your CompTIA exams. What's the story behind that? What are your job responsibilities? I'm curious as to why you're moving on to the Server+ instead of some MS or *nix certs.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Our organization got a huge grant to install a VMWare cluster. The training class was included as part of the grant. We had an authorized VMWare instructor come on site and do the training. This training costs $2500 if you were to do it privately. So I figured since the training was provided, I might as well get the cert. Plus my employer pays for all of the test fees if you pass. A win-win all around.
