Passed my 70-270 this morning with 905. 
I found the MS Training Kit very useful, the test suite that comes on the Disk makes the real exam seem easy!! the Sybex study guide also makes good alternative reading.
Just got to get my head back into the books for my 70-290 this Friday

Congratulations on passing 70-270 exam. I also passed this exam in 2006 with 937/1000 scores.

Good luck with 290! I found it more straightforward than 270. -

I'm actually looking forward to the 290, its much more my bag.
I've noticed that the book for 290 is thinner, probably due to some overlap with 270. Plus I find working with servers a lot more interesting than clients such as XP.
