Activate volume license copy of vista?

Hi All,

Maybe i am posting this in the wrong forum... not too sure

I have just installed a copy of vista business on my work laptop via wds (the vista image downloaded from microsoft website) and it says i have 3 days to activate... is this normal??

Yes. It needs to be activated with a MAK key or registered with a KMS.
