Old security+ or new security+?

hi all

im curious at one question

i will be plannin to do the security+ (2007) version in the next 2-3 weeks

however

i notice that this security+ (2007) will expire sometime next year

my question is


if i dont manage to get my mcse by then; will i have to upgrade to the new version of security+, for it to count to as a valid mcse elective?

Nope, Microsoft doesn't seem to care which version of Sec+ you have, as long as you have it.
