Perfmon question

So I've been reading that some are getting tripped up with the questions on 70-291 pertaining to perfmon and counters. I realize that

Monitor DNS. Tools might include System Monitor, Event Viewer, Replication Monitor, and DNS debug logs.

Is an exam objective to its fair game to ask these questions. I just can't find many resources pertaining to them. Can someone talk about the depth of knowledge I am required to know about this objective and also maybe point me in the direction of some study material/labs. I have CBT Nuggets and MS Press book already.

Jump into the 270 TechNotes here on Performance and you'll get a bit of an overview on perfmon. There's really nothing that has changed since the 270 regarding it, you're just delving into more uses for it. Note though that DNS has a lot of debugging options that you will want to know how they work and when to use them.
