Well, baring completely failing my Calc class I will be a proud college graduate. Just wanted to say that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for those of you who are finishing up as well. Still no job, but not for lack of trying at least!

That's awesome. I only have a couple classes left, but I won't be done until May, 2010 because of their availability and sequential nature. That must be a load off your mind. Congratulations!

congrats man!! Keep the faith as far as the job hunt goes. I had a field engineering job 2 years into college, but it was fixing atms and security equipment with the occasional basic printer/pc tech work. Good luck bro!

    Congrats!

Calc as the last class, nice! I saved a terrible Statistics class for the end when I finished my degree. Good motivation for the finish I guess. :D

I can say that I have not failed one course in college. I did get two D's, one in Chinese (it was half my fault and half the course because the whole grade was based on the final and not using Chinese everyday makes it difficult to learn) and one in Macro Economics (got an A in Micro). So my GPA took a major hit, but I brought it from a 2.73 to the current 3.45. I am happy to be done, but will now look towards a Masters program. The issue I am running into is the programs I'd really like to be accepted to require the GRE. Having done 4 years of college I don't feel I need to take another test to say "yes he can do college". I take issue with the test especially when I read that the GRE scores aren't important to gaining entry to the program, but we want you to take them anyway! But for now, D is for Diploma and I am hoping that's what I can get in Calc....Aim High lol!

the GRE isnt that bad. i graduated in 2004...i know my gpa is str8 up horrible, but i took 3 years between graduation & when i applied for grad school. I took the GRE in Feb & March 2007, and i did pretty good. The verbal part of the test is hella boring and i did so so on that part, but the math is where i did real well at. And being that I'm going for a MS in IT, and my math score was good, i was able to get into all the schools i applied to, and they're not easy schools to get into either. I used the Kaplan GRE book. but yeah, congrats on graduating...and actually D stands for Degree...diploma is hs...
