    'i' before 'e' except after 'c'.... weird?

How does that book hold up considering the newly revised A+ exams?

All-in-1 6th Edition is what should be current.

Does it cover the Core exam only, or the secondary tests too?

Does the "All-in-One" book cover all the exams?? really?

Or are you referencing another book and I misread your question?

Yes, the A-I-O covers all your exam prep, however, you should typically seek out 2-3 sources and I'd recommend the Sybex book as well.
