SSCP practice questions

Hi All,

I'll be sitting Security+ next month and then the SSCP exam next Feb. Just wondering if anyone can recommend good practice questions for the SSCP? Would be interested in something that mirrors the real exam and its format.

Any advise would be really great.

These are the officially sanctioned questions that ISC2 promotes. I used their CISSP questions and found them pretty good. The formatting was somewhat similar to the exam. I recommend using any practice questions only as a tool to gauge your progress. No questions will be exactly the same as the exam.

The questions at www.freepracticetests.org are the best free ones that you'll find for the SSCP and CISSP. The practice questions from PrepLogic and the (ISC)2 are probably the best commercial ones. I suggest that you sign up for an account at www.cccure.org and first go through the posts on the SSCP CBK forum, and then look through the CISSP CBK posts too. They have a lot of exam prep notes too, like the one from Vijay Banahatti.

When usong CCISP material to study for the SSCP, ignore questions and posting that have to do with the physical security, operational security, and law/ethics domains of the CISSP CBK. And only some of the topics of the application security domain (like Malware and attacks) are relevant to the SSCP exam.
