Having a little trouble getting RoaS to work.

I'm watching the CBT Nugget videos and going by those steps.
I have two 1720 routers I'm using as clients, as well as one XP client.
I have created the VLANs which are propagating just fine with VTP. I have added the correct switchports to the corresponding VLAN. I have assigned proper IP addresses to the clients. I have created the subinterfaces on my 2620XM and enabled encapsulation for the proper VLAN. I have added a default gateway to the 1720's via a default route command. This is the only part I'm unsure of...everything else seems correct to me, but I'm not able to ping across VLANs.
Any suggestions?
