recommend a comedy pls

I can't wait for another comedy hit like Sienfeld. While everybody has different taste, I'm wondering what comedy series are hot and hit. I don't like Friends, South Park.

Are you a comedy fan? What do you watch? Maybe you can help me find some laughter icon_lol.gif

Big plus one. I also like "George Lopez," it's on before the simpsons. Funny as hell.

It's always sunny in Philadelphia, it's on the FX channel. Check it out, funny as hell.

+1 for Always Sunny. You can watch nearly all four seasons on www.hulu.com

It's a dark/warped comedy though, so it may not be for everyone.

Besides that I usually stick with The Daily Show, Colbert, and The Office. South Park and Family Guy are hit-and-miss, but I enjoy them overall. I'm way behind on those two though.

I was a huge Sienfeld fan. Here's some things I've enjoyed since:

    Family Guy
    American Dad
    Daily Show
    Colbert Report
    The Office
    Curb Your Enthusiasm
    The Soup

They're not standard comedies, but Chuck and Reaper have been two of the few funny shows I've watched every episode of. You can pick up season one for each of them on DVD now.

I used to love that show, and I want to pick up the complete DVD set. I'm big on The Daily Show as well, but I try to steer clear of anything else. Aside from cartoons, (Adult Swim, Nickelodeon, etc, that I don't "need" to follow like a drama or reality-series,) I don't watch as much TV as I used to.

I have to say The big bang theory is one of the funniest show I have seen in a long time.

    So I would say:

    The Big Bang Theory
    Family Guy
    South Park
    Colbert

NorthBr1dge is spot on. Arrested Development is probably my all-time favorite comedy and one that ended way sooner that it should have. If I had to make a list from top to bottom:

    1. Arrested Development
    2. The Office
    3. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
    4. 30 Rock (this one is quickly going up the list, and I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned on here before. If you liked Seinfeld this is a very smart comedy that would probably be a good place to start.)
    5. Family Guy

Attack of the Show is good but it's not a sitcom.

Other than that it's the Office, Family guy and Robot Chicken. Adult Swim ftw!

    Relatively in order:

    Always Sunny...
South Park (I guess Im one of the few that actually enjoy the fact its getting 'wittier'
Testees is new buy pretty funny
    The Office
    Metalocalypse
    Frisky Dingo
Family Guy (hit and miss lately)
    American Dad (same here)
Futurama (recently revisited and is quite funny)

Top Gear (while not a sit com, it mixes my love of cars and comedy in one. I always get a good laugh out of that show.

I'm not gonna lie but seeing him have a mental break down on TV was better than every single reality show and sitcom there is.

Is that the british top gear with Jeremy Clarkson? He does unfairly dish out some harshaties for you americans sometimes (even if its just a joke), but yeh some of the stuff they get up to is stupidly funny.

I am not sure if you can get these comedies out there but:-

the same. I love cars, and at first hated top gear for its "brashness". then I just realized it was more comedy than seriousness. Heck, I can take a joke :D I always find their top gear 'challenges' to be hilarious.
