I was looking at Monster for Cissp in texas. Only 45 results found. How bad is this off? I know things are hard right now, but I am studying for this cert and am sure to devote a huge amount of time to it. Looking for reassurance that I will get ROI on this cert.
Anyone?????

I haven't looked at Monster in quite some time, but my understanding is that it's not the hotbed of activity it was in say 1999....
Regardless of the cert that you earn, it is unlikely that the perfect job will fall into your lap....

Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModYou may want to look at a more tech-centric job board, like Dice, to find listings that ask for specific certs or experience. Monster is kind of like Wal-Mart: they've got everything, everyone goes there, but it doesn't mean what you find there is high quality.

And once you get an (ISC)2 certification you'll have access to the employment section at www.isc2.org -
JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,089 AdminHere's a 2008 report by Frost & Sullivan on the important trends and opportunities emerging in the InfoSec profession worldwide. There are sections on specializations and certifications. This report seems to have been commissioned by the (ISC)2, so it's no wonder that the CISSP came out smelling pretty sweet.
