I passed today with an 820. After taking the test I figured I had failed because there were so many questions I was uncertain about.
In preparing for the test I took a class at the local community college, used the Course Technology Book for 70-290, as well as Transcender, MeasureUp, TechExams, etc.
There was one sim that had me a little puzzled as to whether or not I got it right. There were two domains, Europe and Asia. The Asia domain had a group Sales in it's OU. You had to add users from the Europe domain into the group Sales. I had no clue how to do this. I just changed the group scope of Sales to Universal. Is there something else that needed to be done?
Well, it's a few weeks of relaxation and then on to "The Beast".

My guess on your question:
You just needed to add the global group to that domain local group to let them have access
Being domain local to that domain will let the users have local access to that domain (if that makes sense) -
Johnny Johnson Member Posts: 241 ■■■□□□□□□□Thanks. I think I tried adding the global group to the domain local group but wasn't able to for some reason. One good thing about the simulations was that it seemed that you were only able to do what was required. For example, it wouldn't let you open up other things (like Active Directory Domains and Trusts) or let you add incorrect groups.Next up: 100-101 ICND1 :study:

gravyjoe Member Posts: 260I had the exact same question on the test. I was wondering if I did it right. I changed the sales group scope to universal, so I guess I did it rightThe biggest risk in life is not taking one.

Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModCongrats on the pass. However, I don't think violating the NDA by talking about the exact questions you got on the exam and which options/configurations were right and wrong is allowed even once you've passed.
