October Success, December Failure

Well today I got let go from the job I picked up in October. No reason given other than "It was just not working out." Attempts to get more reasons than that were to no result. I have my suspicions though. Anyhow, back to the job market for me! Great timing too since I'll be off to Michigan in less than a week as well. Plenty of time for resume polishing!

I'm sorry to hear that. You seem to have a good positive attitude though. This could also be an opportunity to expand your skill set as well

    Sorry to hear as well.

If you don't mind me asking, what type of position was it and in what industry were you working?

Did you make any political campaign contributions since you were hired? Or is that just an Illinois thing? :D

sorry to hear that...but you do have a great attitude about it, and that's very important. It maybe that the state is just cutting back, like everyone else is, and the last hired are usually the first fired.

Good luck with the job search!!

If I were you and I was being fired, I would have asked to see my termination in writing as well as the reason. Don't let companies screw you over like that with dodgy reasons for fireing you
