:S or MCITP:EA?

I may be getting ahead of myself here, but....

I'm scheduled to retake 297 this Saturday and by going through practice tests, I realized some misconceptions I had during the first take, so hopefully I'll have my MCSE complete on Saturday.

I currently have two MS exam vouchers that I need to use in the next 6 months (due to second shot expiring). I also have already purchased the Transcender test for 299. If you were in my situation, would you use the two exams and add the :Security specialization to my MCSE or take the two exams to upgrade to MCITP:Enterprise Administrator? I already have 620, so just need the upgrade and design exams.

Uh....

I originally thought that the Second Shot was good until June. I looked at the MS site just now and it seems to state that you have to take the first attempt by Dec 31. Am I misreading this or is this just for the 25% discount part of it?
