score when comparing MS and CompTIA?

ok, the rank score of M$ are 100 to 1000, while CTIA are 200 - 900. when comparing. when the result in each exams is compared, the Microsoft questions value are more? for example a 700 in a MS exam is not the same in a Comptia? thanks.

    You can't really do a comparison, each has their own scoring scale. You have to remember that even though Microsoft passing scores are 700/1000 that doesn't mean you need to get 70% of the questions correct, individual questions can be worth more/less than others and some may even be ungraded.

    Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
    Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...

    by the way, the score range for CompTIA exams is actually 100-900 (not 200-900)

    And I agree, they're different exams covering different topics, so there is no comparison.
    Currently Studying For: Nothing (cert-wise, anyway)
    Next Up: Security+, 291?

    Enrolled in Masters program: CS 2011 expected completion
