Best current CCNA book..?
walid97
Hi guys,
I am going to study CCNA at home to sit for the exam (640-801) before the end of this year.
I was wondering about the best CCNA book available taking into account a possible future changes in the exam objectives (if there will be before the end of the year)
I was wondering about :
CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate Study Guide, 4th Edition (640-801) by Todd Lammle - Sybex
what do you think?
thanks a lot !

The Sybex 4th Ed. by Lammle is what I am using for my primary study. Thus far, its been a great book. I was not sure which to get either, but many have recommended Sybex as one of the better ones. Cisco's study guides have also been given pretty good marks too.
The 640-801 exam had undergone changes last October. I think its unlikely that you will see a newer edition of the exam this year, so you should be OK.
You also should pick up a couple of routers or at least buy a simulator for your hands-on with Cisco's IOS. I'm getting the routers and a already got a software sim package from Sybex. I plan on passing the first time.
Hope this info helps.
