With the Study pack, is it virtual only or do you get real books? Anyone know?

There are not real books, but I would highly recommend his products. I used them for CCNA and CCNP.
I don't claim to be an expert, but I sure would like to become one someday.

They're much more readable. I'd consider them a supplement and not a replacement though. Chris is a great guy.

I am currently using his CCNA package. It is easier to understand, but I would use the Cisco Press as well. Chris goes above and beyond to help you out too. When you buy the package you are able to print it...make sure to buy a box of paper though :)

I would keep 2 since Chris B. will deliver major concepts very friendly, Cisco Press for going in deep and in granular details.

did anyone try the rack time

did anyone try the rack time

I got a free racktime with mine, but I haven't used it, I sent Chris B. an email and he gets back to me right away telling me that I can reserve the rack anytime, very fast response.

I definitely recommend the product it's like a 5 in 1 deal, I'm very happy with it.

The Bryant Advantage products are definitely worth the money.

I also purchased this yesterday along with the 3-day rack time. I like the material so far, just wondering how many pages is it to print out all this stuff.

I put mine in a 4" three ring binder. It fills every bit of it. It is likely two reams of paper. Make sure to get the heavy duty 4" binder (expensive) though :)

I used it as well. I started by reading the Cisco Press books first and then I got Chris's document without the rack time and read that. I used the Packet Tracer tool from Cisco to do the examples. I found his document eaiser to read than Odem's. I would use both for the next exam I take.

Is his material in the Bryant Advantage package the same stuff that he does for Train Signal?

Very similar. It's nice to have the written copy, but if you take good notes, you could probably forgo it.

The Bryant stuff works for a lot of people - and he is really a great guy and responds to all e-mails

I had a hard time with his writing style, but that's only because I'm an old guy like him. He explains things in a sort of childlike manner, but it all does seem very accurate.

OK I'm a little jealous of his success, but anyhow....

The good news here is that he gave me a full refund when I asked for it and even then answered my e-mail promptly

So check him out, his guarantee is rock solid if it's not for you

My grammar is better than his, but I have to take my hat off to his CCIE

I know this is an old thread, but I had to put my two cents in.

Most folks look at CCNA as an either Lammle or Odom proposition-- I actually now consider it a Big 3 proposition: Bryant, Lammle and Odom.

I really dig Bryant's materials-- hard to beat for the price. Clearly written, a relaxed read, and the included practice tests are quite useful.

I used all three for the CCENT, and am making use of all three for ICND2. If you need two sets of materials, I'd recommend going with Bryant and Lammle first.
Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Bryant's material kicks ass. I've going with him and Odom personally.
