Hi guys I'm having trouble redistributiong OSPF into ISIS. Using the next topology: R1---R2---R3
R1-R2 link is in ospf area 0.
R2-R3 is configured with ISIS.
I've inserted the default-information originate always and it works because R2 receives the default route but R3 is no getting. The redistribution is also working because R3 can see R1's loopbacks interfaces.
Thanks
R2 and R3 are configured as level-1-2 by default
What I don't understand is that if R3 gets ospf redistributed subnets, why dosen't it get the default route of R1 if R2 has it in its routing table as O*E2 .
Thanks

Questions:- Is R2 configured as a:
- Integrated IS-IS L1 router
- Integrated IS-IS L1-L2 router
- Integrated IS-IS L2 router
- Integrated IS-IS other router
- Is R3 configured as a:
- Integrated IS-IS L1 router

The always keyword makes the router advertise a default to neighbors even if there is not one in the routing table. When you redistribute only routes in the routing table are redistributed. So, I'd check the routing table on the router doing the redistribution.
Just a thought....An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made. -
