This would be one of the companies in my list of those not to survive 2009 in tact, surprised they didn't last a little longer though...

that's to bad to hear, although nortel has been struggling for a while now so I'm not to terribly surprised.

If only the DMS switches had a "?" I would love them! Then I wouldn't have needed a gigantic smart book every time I had to check routing.

Still easier than the 5E switches though. I don't even attempt to mess with those bad boys....

I've been told by Nortel employees that a lack of "?" is assurance of job security. So much for that!

If they would have added context sensitive help they may not be going bankrupt!

I thought nortel had a better market share than JUNIPER ..........

now nortel down and JUNIPER still surviving
    Venturing in to the Unknown

Target 2018 : SSCP VCP- DTM

The Difference between the Ordinary and the Extra-Ordinary is that Little " Extra ".

Just pulled some numbers a few seconds ago they are as follows

    cisco : 15.74/share
    nortel : .32/share
    juniper : 16.10/share

Granted those numbers are shortly after the bankruptcy announcement of Nortel, but suffice it to say that Juniper is currently doing better then Cisco and I know from personal experience that Juniper is having a hard time keeping up with sales.

Just my opinion but I would say that Juniper is doing much better then "surviving" icon_wink.gif
