Failed BSCI

kalebkspkalebksp Member Posts: 1,033 ■■■■■□□□□□
Failed my first exam today with 766. To be honest it is probably an accurate representation of my knowledge of the topics. Although I was surprised that the exam report showed 44% on Implementing EIGRP operations. EIGRP was a topic I thought I had down pretty well. Definitely not an easy exam.

Nothing to do now but hit the books and retake it in a week.

    Sorry to hear that. Back to the books and lab, and I'm sure you will have a pass in no time!

    Just keep at it and you'll get it eventually. It is definitely a large volume of information.

    Good luck on the retake! My studies for this exam have been pretty lacking of late... I can just imagine how hard it is going to be.

    Ouch, it always hurts to fail an exam. Hit those books hard, and I'm sure we'll be reading an "I passed!!!" thread from you by this time next week. icon_thumright.gif

    Was this your first CCNP exam? If so, I definitely wouldn't be too hard on yourself. I think a lot of us were a bit surprised at our first pro level exam. They are a whole new ball game after CCNA.

    At least now you know what to expect and where to concentrate your studies! Good luck and I'm sure that test will be battered and bloody from the beating you'll give it next time! :D

    Sorry to hear that. I failed this exam my first time as well.

    I passed it the next time around by taking what areas I was weak in the exam topics and found as much info as I could on Cisco's website to compliment what notes I already had for those topics. It helped out alot.

    Hope to hear you passed it the next time.

    Hang in there, you will get it next time!icon_wink.gif
    I usually hang out on 224.0.0.10 (FF02::A) and 224.0.0.5 (FF02::5) when I'm in a non-proprietary mood.

    Good luck with the retake. My friend at work just barely passed it after the company paid for his 7-day bootcamp.

    I work in the old mainframe part of the company or I would be going to all those bootcamps

    Anyhow, the point is that it's a hard exam

    Keep at it! You know what to expect now, so I'm willing to bet you'll pass next time
