ISCW - Test scheduled for 2/5/09

It's on. I've been studying for this test for the last 5 months and I'm ready to kick some IPSec/MPLS/DSL/Firewall ass! I'm not sure why but I'm more intimidated by this test than I was for the BSCI or BCMSN. Anyway, I'll be hittin' the books and GNS3 pretty hard for the next 2 weeks. Wish me luck!

Well damn........I failed. Got a score of 778 and I needed 790 to pass. Guess I'll take it again next week. I do find it annoying how little time they give you on these tests.

Here's my results:
Implement basic teleworker services.......50% (Damn!)
Implement frame-mode MPLS.................57%
Implement a site-to-site IPSec VPN........77%
Describe network security strategies.......85%
Implement Cisco Device Hardening..........66%
Implement Cisco IOS Firewall.................77%

Sorry to hear about the fail. I found this exam more difficult than expected also.

Looks like you have now identified your weak areas (pretty much all of them

) now go hit the books and knock it out next time!

I hate the section on PPPoA. Too many obscure references and odd configurations. Part of the reason I did so bad on the teleworker section.

Well, did quite a bit better this time. Got a score of 950. I think I just needed to take the test, see where my weak areas were, and study them hard.
